Beyoncè on a Budget
Allow me to PUT YOU ON to what your girl has been doing, and what the game has been missing! Keep reading..
I walked into my local beauty supply store for some nail polish and tweezers and can't for the life of me tell you how my happy behind ended up in the Wig section of the store. So happy that I did, because girl - she's a beauty.
I have never done long blonde hair before, nor have I worn a wig/hair from the beauty supply store. My first wig cost me a very pretty penny, and as good of quality it is, I still can't easily cough up that kind of cash every time I want to switch up my look.
Sasha (which is my wigs new name) was sitting across the room just waiting for me to take her home - it was like finding the puppy you've always dreamed of except its a wig and you don't have to clean up after it. Win Win! I was hesitant at first, because this was a bold move for lil ol' Cìa. Nevertheless, as soon as I picked up the wig I knew this was going to happen. The density, the color, the length, the cut, the texture!! Everything was on point.
I walked over to saleswoman and asked her for my new found baby, and OF COURSE, it was sold out! The saleswomen offered to give me the one on display (Sasha herself lol) at a discounted price and obviously your girl was all for it!
For a whopping $39.99 Sasha was mine! I was ecstatic! As I got into my Uber to head back home it was only then that I realized that I walked right out the store without getting the item I set out to get in the first place.
But, the wig is popping!
I have had this wig for a month now. I have partied in it, slept in it twice and "co-washed" it a few times. I got tired of the body wave look after awhile, and boldly attempted to flatiron it. Yup! Sasha pulled through again and laid soo perfectly! Holding the same quality of shine, body and texture as when I first bought her. I'm telling you, this purchase was faith!
My "Co-wash" method: I mixed a half spray bottle of water with four pumps of Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil - Strengthen and Restore Conditioner and sprayed the product directly onto the hair. Wetting it completely but not so much that it's dripping. Just wet it. I let the hair air dry before going over it with my flat iron.
Voilà! Still popping!
I vow to NEVERRRRR sleep on the beauty supply store wig game again! This wig is by a company called ModelModel, it is in the color OT27 Style number: 202, but we will call her Sasha! This is by far the prettiest wigs I have ever seen and after 4 weeks of completely tryingggg it - it has held true. A link to this gorgeous unit will be linked below. I'm officially hooked.
Thank me later!
